Annual prediction - 2020
Predictions are hard to write. I’ll be wrong more often than I'll be right. And it will be embarrassing to look back at how wrong I was.
But predictions are worthwhile. They force me to think about new things in different ways.
Here goes my inaugural annual prediction.
In 2020, I predict that an all-in-one “no code” platform leader will emerge. This platform will allow anyone to build a functional web application without code. (Note: A no-code platform allows users to create apps without coding knowledge.)
If this were to happen, it would help level the playing field between non-coders and coders. It would empower marketers, sales people, and service reps to build software to solve problems.
While existing platform solutions are half-baked, they're getting better every month.
